I’m Mark, a gay personal trainer based at The Training Station in Milngavie. I work with LGBTQ+ clients and allies who want clear, individual coaching without assumptions or judgement. My coaching is open to everyone, in person or online.

Inclusive by default

You should not have to work out whether you will be welcome.

Starting with a personal trainer can already feel exposing. You should not also have to test the water, edit how you speak or wonder how your identity will be received.

Inclusive coaching here is straightforward. I listen, use the name and pronouns you ask me to use, respect your privacy and focus on the goals that matter to you. You decide what you want to share.

01

No assumptions

Your relationships, identity, body and goals are not treated as something that needs explaining.

02

Your goals stay yours

Fat loss, strength, muscle building or simply feeling better in the gym. The plan follows what you want.

03

Privacy is respected

You choose what you share, including whether photographs or personal details form part of your check-ins.

04

Coaching made clear

Exercises, nutrition and progress are explained plainly, without judgement or gym-floor posturing.

What that means in practice

The same proper coaching. No awkwardness attached.

Being LGBTQ+ inclusive is not a separate package or a marketing extra. It is part of how I coach everybody.

Common questions

Before you get in touch.

If you want to check anything privately first, send me an enquiry. You will be speaking directly to me.

Is your coaching only for LGBTQ+ people?

No. My coaching is open to everyone. LGBTQ+ inclusive means nobody has to wonder whether they will be respected here.

Are you an LGBTQ+ personal trainer?

Yes. I am gay, and I understand why some people specifically look for a gay personal trainer or a coach who is part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Do I have to discuss my identity?

No. You decide what is relevant and what you want to share. We can simply focus on your training, nutrition and goals.

Where does in-person coaching take place?

At The Training Station, 24 Crossveggate, Milngavie, G62 6RA. The gym has free parking and is convenient for Milngavie, Bearsden and north-west Glasgow.

Can I work with you if I am not near Glasgow?

Yes. Online coaching is available worldwide and includes personalised training, nutrition support, weekly check-ins and exercise video feedback.
